Jellyfish Lake, Eil Malk Island, Palau. The glorious islands are a true paradise for the vacationers and adventurers. The amazing nature has formed this unique web of islands, that attract visitors for the warm climate, white sandy beaches and crystal clear water. Scubadiving is one of the most popular activities.

During the last ice age 12 000 years ago, the sea levels rose and then dropped leaving jellyfish in the lake. The jellies have lost their sting, probably because there are no predators in the lake. They need sun, therefore thousands of jellies migrate towards the lake surface early in the morning when the sun rises.

Why to go there?

One of the favorite adventures in Palau. Few companies organize tours from Koror.

When to go there?

The climate is warm all year long. However, it rains more from July to October.

How to get there?

The island is a 45 minute boat ride from Koror. Fly to Koror from Hawaii, Taiwan, South Korea, Arab Emirates, Philippines, Japan, Australia.
