Earlier this year I was lucky enough to spend some time in Finland thanks to the Nordic Bloggers Experience. I was SO excited about this trip because I’d never really been anywhere that could qualify as a winter wonderland. Well, not since I was a kid at least. I wanted to dress up in all my winter gear, dive into the snow and do all those things that come to mind when you think of the fairytale winter. I wanted postcard-perfect pictures. And I got all of that and more during my visit to Ruka Kussamo in Finnish Lapland. It was one of the most amazing places I’ve ever visited and I didn’t even get to see half of what it has to offer.
