Bloggers and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Travel Day

Anyone who has traveled for any length of time knows that travel is definitely NOT unicorns and rainbows all the time . Sure, it's fun and life-changing and can be amazing. But, as with any situation where complete control is out of your hands, things can easily go wrong when it comes to travel. Whether it's canceled flights, bad weather, sickness, scams, or something much worse, bad travel days are inevitable the more often you travel. 5 Times When It’s NOT OK to Take a Travel Selfie

In the age of Facebook and Twitter and the ubiquitous  selfie , when we all feel the need to make our lives look more exciting by plastering everything we do and see across social media, I have begun to notice a disturbing trend while traveling the world. A trend that leans toward the ignorant, the insensitive, and the downright disrespectful. We've all seen THAT tourist. The one throwing up a peace sign at a war memorial. The one grinning at a burial ground. The one taking “jumping” shots in a place where people suffered. The one snapping selfies at a concentration camp. Yeah, you've probably seen them, too.
