Undesirable news for travelers to Machu Picchu this week (I guess it depends on how you search at it however). Hefty rains in Peru have brought about widespread mudslides, one of which has blocked the train route from Cuzco to the well-known ruins. But not to be concerned, in accordance to reviews, the 2,000 or so who are stuck are going to be airlifted out by the country’s armed forces.
Having said that, don’t you usually, at least after, think to yourself when traveling, “I want I could be caught right here forever”?
